Luís Corte Real fundou a Saída de Emergência em 2003. Desde então criou a Coleção Bang! (que lança em Portugal os melhores autores de fantástico da atualidade e muitos clássicos) e a Revista Bang! (uma publicação semestral e gratuita dedicada à fantasia, FC e horror). Também editou autores como a Nora Roberts e Mark Manson, mas vocês não querem saber disso.
